CONCLUSIONS OF THE 47TH SESSION OF THE COUNCIL OF COMPETITION

Sarajevo, 21 and 22 June 2007 - The Council of Competition issued a Decision declaring the concentration compatible; the concentration will be created in the wholesale and retail market for clothing and footwear in Bosnia and Herzegovina between undertakings Centrotekstil a.d. Belgrade, Republic of Serbia and Home Art & Sales Services AG, Swiss Confederation. 

Home Art & Sales Services AG, submitted to the Council of Competition  a Notification on intended concentration by means of which it intends to acquire majority control over  the undertaking Centrotekstil. The influence of the concentration concerned on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina is through the subsidiary associations Zepter International d.о.о. Kozarska Dubica, Zepter International d.о.о. Sarajevo and CTB d.о.о. Bijeljina. After the detailed legal and economic analysis it is established that the concentration concerned will not have negative effects on the relevant market but it will  lead to the developed market competition in the wholesale and retail market for clothing and footwear in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

The Council of Competition expressed an opinion on request of undertaking Poteza Adriatic Fund B.V., Holland, regarding the obligation to submit a notification on intended concentration to the Council of Competition. 

Also, the Council of Competition expressed an opinion on request of undertaking Auctor Projekt d.о.о. Zagreb, which is also regarding the obligation to submit a notification on intended concentration to the Council of Competition.
