CONCLUSIONS OF THE 57th SESSION OF THE COUNCIL OF COMPETITION SARAJEVO, 27 December 2007- On its 57th session the Council of Competition assessed the concentration created between IEIL Japan Co., Japan and Arysta LifeScience Corporation, Japan as compatible. IEIL Japan Co. submitted to the Council of Competition a notification of intended concentration by means of which it intends to acquire a control over the Arysta LifeScience Corporation . The concentration will be implemented in the market for sale of herbicides in Bosnia and Herzegovina where the IEIL Japan Co. is present through its subsidiary association Agrokomplex Nutrition d.o.o. Gračanica. As IEIL Japan Co is the only party present in the market in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Council of Competition ascertained, after the analysis, that this concentration will not change market share of the parties to the concentration or prevent ,restrict or distorts competition in the market for sale of herbicides in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Council of Competition, upon submission of the notification of the concentration, adopted a Resolution authorizing the initiation of the proceedings for assessment of the concentration between the companies Delta Maxi d.o.o. from Belgrade and Tropic retail trade d.o.o. from Banja Luka. During the proceedings, the Council of Competition will carry out detailed legal and economic analysis and, within the stipulated time period, bring a decision on the concentration concerned. |
